COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course focuses on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data through Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) techniques. You will learn how to detect, manage, and correct spatial and attribute errors to maintain high-quality GIS datasets.
The course covers topology concepts and rules for points, lines, and polygons, attribute rules for automated data validation, and the use of Data Reviewer tools for checking spatial relationships, running batch jobs, and managing review results. By the end of the course, you will be able to design practical QC/QA workflows and integrate them into everyday GIS projects.
